Pencil and Gouache paint on paper
Because I have no faith in my painting career and that I refuse to be a one trick pony, I've had many lingering ideas for illustrations, cartoons, and parodies. This fusion of David Bowie and Beaker from the Muppets is one of them.
I originally had Gonzo in mind, but I already use him for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Beaker shared a closer resemblance to Bowie too. I also wanted to to do every album cover of Bowie's from "The Man Who Sold The World" (1970) to "Let's Dance"(1983). This would have been a total of 12 album covers. I decided to stick with just the three most iconic of Bowie's album covers because some covers are more complicated than others and I didn't want the joke to get stale.

I respect anyone demented enough to cross Beeker with Bowie.
